Hello all i am new here and here is my first post. I was just wondering what do you guys think of this. I have a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder xe 2wd. I i visited the local j-yard looking for some parts fix on my pathy, I found a 1987 Pathfinder 4x4 with Jim Connor front upper a-arms, well thats what the sticker said on if after i rubbed all the crusty mud off, look very similar to many of the chromoly tubular from a-arms for various companys, rancho 5000 shocks all around. And red lift springs in the rear, they are tall but do not feel very stiff when i pressed down on them, so i am guessing they are the 1.5 lift ones, I could be wrong as they look very tall. And it has a 3" body lift on it. I was just planning on getting the front a-arms and and rear springs for now and see how this works on my rig, and buy the 3" body lift brand new. I asked them how much, he said $50 a a-arm, and if I buy the springs at the same time $10 a spring. Just wondering what do you think about that for the parts I want $120 out the door is that a good price for some used Jim Connor front upper a-arms and red lift springs. Thanks for any comments you can provide.

Welcome.

Never heard of Jim Connor, might try a search. $120 bucks for a lift ain't all bad, but you should try for the body too while you're at it. See how much he wants for it, and if you don't want it, there may be a few around here that might.

Hey thanks for the reply and warm welcome Maritime Man, yes I remember Jim Connor racing use to make parts for the Nissan Hardbodys and Pathys just wondering if any one on this board have used them before or are still currently running these arms on there current rig or even remember Jim Connor racing components?. But that was many years back, when my older brother lifted his 87 Pathy back in 91 when i think he was still in buisness, he had one of the first Pathy's on 35's over here, a place over here in el cajon in san diego did the work, they used the trailmaster 4" suspension lift kit when it first came out and a skyjacker 3" body lift. Many shops around here told him it could not be done, but were very suprised when it was complete. I really liked it when it was done. So my plan i the future it to do the same lift set-up. I will see how much the guy will sell me the 3" body lift, but i figured it is not worth the time due to the amount of time and work it will take to take off versus just paying $100 for a brand new set. But it did have the body lift liners on it, did not check if it had the radiator drop down kit installed, but I am assuming it had it due to the 3" body lift. But if any one is intrested i will inquire. Let me know if you guys are looking for parts, as I planning on going back this week to pick up the parts, the speacilize in toyota and Nissan parts, basically any mini truck parts as that is the name of the place LOL. Thanks again for all of your replys.
