Quaintbucket
I have a 97 Pathfinder LE with 4WD. Basically, it seems like this happens almost every time when I'm driving on the highway. I can hear this clicking sound when I'm approaching 80km/hr after pasting by the 75 km/hr mark at a gradual accerlation. Once I hit past it, it stops and resumes like normal. The only time it doesn't do that is when I'm pushing the engine hard and going past 80 km/hr in a short quick manner. I also did an experiment by intentionally holding it between 75-80km/hr to see if it would click the whole way. It did. Any idea what could it be? It's basically stock and I'm not doing any upgrades to it until I can get this fixed before the other necessary repairs/replacements (timing belt and valve cover gasket are the pressing things). Bubbley11
What part of the car does the noise come from?
Quaintbucket
It sounds like it's coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment.
