vanuatoo
My Pathfinder came with one key. I don't live in USA but there is a Nissan dealer (not official) which told me that they will program the second key but don't have hardware to duplicate the key physically. What would you suggest? 1. Contact the dealer in USA, prove that I'm the owner of my car, give them VIN and they will send me the duplicated key, which then I will program in local dealership 2. Buy somewhere blank key with a correct chip, do physical duplication and programming locally
Towncivilian
I think the second option will be easier, but I don't know which one will be cheaper. I think a hardware store should be able to physically cut the key for you, and then the dealer can program it. You should be able to purchase the correct OEM blank key with chip online, if you want me to find the part number and get the lowest price Rob should be able to help you in this thread. 96Pathfinder4x4
Most locksmiths can do it also. Have to call around. I bought a key on Ebay for my Focus and had a locksmith cut and program it.
