huzkers89
Hi everyone. I just purchased a 1 owner 1998 Pathfinder LE 4x4, 126,000 miles. well taken care of, upgraded from a 1990 toyota pickup 4x4.. anyway, I am dealing with my first leak and glad I found this website/forum. Turns out the leak is the ByPass Hose which requires major disassemble to get it, but is very fixable. I will also search the forums for a part that is cracked right of the Air Intake Manifold, a short hard plastic elbow piece that connects the full air intake, any ideas whats its called? (again, I will search) thanks so much! this place rocks.

Precise1
Howdy Bud, welcome to Pathfinder central! Vegas, eh? My Dad lived there for a while, hell of a place... Yeah, the bypass hose is a PITA. If the timing belt hasn't been changed yet (or you don't know when) just go in and change everything (belt, seals, hoses, etc). There is a great write up by a resident mechanic in the Garage/How To section. I'll go outside and look for the hard plastic elbow thingie after I finish my coffee...
