qatcool
Hi all, I have this concern of delayed shifting. this only happens in the afternoon when oil is already hot. i went to Nissan and told me that the transmission is already finish due to burn oil and need to replace the transmission. 1 mechanic told me that this is due to TPS throttle position sensor. I am planning to change the transmission oil. any advice. is my transmission already gone.
CNAM
Transmission is probably fine. I changed the TPS on mine and resolved this issue. Mine was also neglecting to shift and would bounce off the rev limmiter when taking off from a stand still (first gear). I changed the TPS, Mass Airflow Sensor and fully took apart the throttle body and cleaned it and cleaned the K&N air filter. This seemed to do it for me. I am now dealing with an ignioion coil issue. It helps if you can get the codes from the ECU.
