dakotab93
I have. I have a 1998 Manual 4x4 how hard was it to do, and by chance do you know exactly what wires you had to tie into, i have a 1997 4x4 so it should be the same.
93xe
if you have any 12v wiring experience at all, its not too difficult. 99% of the wires are under the driver side dash at the ignition harness, and at the secu (security control unit) to the left of the steering column. Tach signal is underhood as well as hoodpin.
dakotab93
I have some experience in it. I figured there was only 4 or five ignition wire that are need, do you know if its possible to tap into the harness behind the cluster for the tac? Any possible way you could post a picture? linkinpark
http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/alarmdetail/1640.html That will give you pretty much everything you need. I tied into the tach from the gauge cluster. Only have two wires going into the engine bay. Hood pin and alarm siren. Not pictures. Don't feel like tearing it all apart. dakotab93
Is there any bypass modules needed?
linkinpark
No there isn't. I do not think a chipped key was even an option in our rigs.
dakotab93
What about any relays?
linkinpark
Hope you got it all figured out but I never had to use any extra relays. But it really would depend on the remote start system.

dakotab93
It is an audiovox aps 901c. It isn't learning the tach rate.
