Towncivilian
I was greasing the driveshaft and I was looking over things I noticed the parking brake cables were not even. The parking brake is fully engaged. Does this mean one of my drums are out of adjustment? Also, the FSM says to lube something or other on the parking brake cable (see BR-34). What do I grease? Trogdor636
I think you grease your driveshaft more than I change my oil. Wow, that sounds XXX.
devonianwalk
I think you grease your driveshaft more than I change my oil. I see what you did there .. I can not get over how clean your e-brake (or under carriage for that matter) looks. The only time my cables ever gave me fits was the time I had so much mud caked up in my drums the cable would not "release". The pic does look rather uneven though. Have you put your hands on them to see if one of the lines feel loose?
Trogdor636
Are you supposed to lube the e brake cable itself? That was always a maintenance item to do to my front brake and clutch on my street bike.
