I'm looking into installing a safari basket in the near future and I'm just looking around for ideas of what products fit my price range and what, if any parts im gonna need to mount it. I was looking at the proline rack because of the optional extension you can purchase but my biggest question is what and how do they mount? (Yakima racks are awseome but way to expensive for my college budget) Should i buy new cross bars or are my factory cross bars usable? In my opinion it looks like after market crossbars would let the basket sit lower on the roof which would be ideal. Is this correct though? Any input would be nice and If you have a safari basket if you would post what equipment your using that would be nice. Oh, and i once heard that pictures are worth a thousand words, so lets see them.
