Coolant Level

MAXPATH

Hey guys it might sound like one of those questions, but just wanna get things cleared. I just did my cooling system flush at the Nissan dealer. After the flush i noticed that the coolant level in the recovery tank(overflow tank)is just a hair above the minimum. I went back inside and asked the technician who serviced the truck about the coolant level and he said that is the amount should be in the recovery tank and not to top up anything, so i believed him. When i got home i read in the owners manual that the coolant level in recovery tank should be at the Max when its cold. So i would like to know if i should top it up to the max or leave it where it is as suggested by the technician at Nissan. I also read in the haynes repair manual that the coolant level should be just around or above the Min mark when cold.

Thanks in advance.

Doesn't matter either way as long as there's something in there, really. Just add enough distilled water to get to the MAX line to have some buffer for any potential air pockets, small amounts of coolant lost due to evaporation, etc.
