So I've found a roof basket for an awesome price on Amazon. It's a 48.5 inches, but I don't know if it will fit the rails going across the top of the car. (See my sig for the roof rails). I would go measure it, but...... I'm in school.. lol. Does anyone know the specific dimensions of the rails on the top? I just want to make sure it won't be to..Big,small,short,long, before I get it.

Don't think there is much difference between 1998 and 2000.

 

Outside to Outside (approx).

41" for the cross bars.

41.5" for the rails.

 

Length (approx).

51" from the back would be at my sun roof.

67" if I didn't care about or have a sunroof.

 

Not sure I would put a lot of weight up there.

Whole lot of plastic, doesn't look real sturdy.
