Howdy All,

I am thinking of buying a 2nd hand towbar but just wondering if anyone one here knows if these trucks already have the cable somewhere at the back to hook up or would I need to hack into the Loom?

Cheers.

That is a nice complete write-up on how to do it ^

Usually, if you look in the driver side or passenger side brake light compartments..youll find it, if someones already done it for you..if nothings there..you'll have to do it yourself..but..if you need help, feel free to ask!

Are you planning to tow the pathfinder or use the pathfinder to tow a trailer? It sounds like you want to tow the pathfinder behind something.

That write up suggested above is for installing a plug for towing a trailer with a 4 light setup. To use the pathy as the trailer with a 5 light setup it's pretty much the same just using a different adapter you can't use the same adapter and wire it backwards. You will need an adapter to go from a 4 light setup to a 5 light setup. I did this on a small toyota car back in 92. You just connect the wires in the same place and then run the plug to the front of the vehicle.
