How much is a lift?

Recommended Posts

The AC springs will only set you back 3-4 hundred bucks. However, you might as well replace the struts and shocks (even though it is not necessary) since they will have to be removed to install the springs.

As for the SFD? I can't really say as there are just a handful of members on these forums that are running them.

:yeahthat:

If I wasn't off-road so much, I think the SFD (w/new and longer rear coils/shocks) would have been perfect, but I appreciate the extra 2 inches the AC coils give me up front and the amount of flex/compression I can now get out back.

IMHO the SFD is a royal pain in the arse. Not sure about the "reangle" comment, but it is time consuming for sure. Just depends on what you want to do with your rig, or what you'd like it to look like.

If you start with the SFD (which only lifts the front), let me know, because I have some pre-cut rear coil springs (almost brand new) that yield 4.25" of lift when paired with Krypton Fabs perch adapter. (Soon to be for sale)

ON = :jacked:

I ordered 6.5" WJ Coils from Iron Rocks Off Road last week. I took an angle grinder to the upper pig tails and installed them yesterday. A little more than I want, will have to cut a tad more, but I'm tired of messing with them right now.

I've got a VERY slight driveline vibration from 18-28 mph, but other than that, it's almost a perfect rear spring IMO. I'll post up in a dedicated topic after I wheel them moderately this weekend.

OFF = :jacked:
