I recently purchased a 2001 SE with the 240 hp engine and have to decide what size tires to get based on fuel consumption increase and appearence in the wheel wells. I'm leaning towards 30x9.5x16, possibally 31x10.5x16, and would like to know what poeple are getting for miles per gallon with this engine and these size tires?

Maybe you guys can help me decide which size to buy also. Send me or post some pics of 1999.5-2004 with these size tires. I don't want to stuff tires under the wheel wells, but I want the truck to sit higher.

My concerns are miles per gallon and space in the wheel wells with 30's or 31's....

Thanks.
