enginerd
So how much good trail life are you guys getting out of your mud tires? I don't really want to buy new ones unless I have to, but am not sure if buying ones used off CL at 60% left is worthwhile either. This is an example of the kind of stuff I'm looking at: http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/pts/2269632692.html Thoughts?
5523Pathfinder
Well, the link is deleted by author. You can get lots of life out of your tires by rotating them often. I installed my previous set of BFG's at about 115,000, and changed them just before 188,000. I have a 5th matching spare and rotated it in every other oil change. I drive about 100 miles a day up and down I-5. Of course, your driving habits have to be taken into consideration(no burn outs!). I also have a locker in the rear which, in some cases, increases tire wear. So get new tires, have it aligned and keep them rotated. I still have my old tires, and even worn to about 35%, I still took them wheeling at Evans last october and they did fine.
