tekazgtr1984
Thought I'd throw this up on here to see who's got what in the rear on the their SFD'd R50s. I had a shock in mind for my '98 but IIRC the '99.5-up uses different mounts for the shocks... I'm curious as to what's good. I still want to go with Bilstein but I don't know if 7100's will work on the Q.
muddfildvaynes
I ordered some Rancho RS5000's for a 2000 F250 with a 2" lift and had to modify the bushings to fit and love the way they handle
exit34rocker1017
When I was going to do a SFD, I was going to get these shocks. They were the same kind I have on my truck now, just with more travel.
Rick13
I have yet to install them, but I purchased the Pro Comp ES9000. I have 2 Jeeper friends that swore by this same shock and I couldn't argue with the price with my 25% discount coupon from 4 Wheel Parts a few weeks ago - seriously, they were practically "cheap". They were for a 2000 F250 (Manufacturer #929500) so I just made sure the extended/compressed length were desireable - 29.8" extended and compressed is 17.3". Should equate to some decent flex without much limitation. I'll update once installed/tested - about 3-4 weeks from now.
tekazgtr1984
Thanks for the posts. The Bilstein 5100 shocks were great on my '98 so I'd like to stick with Bilstein. I think these should work: Bilstein 7100
