ok so today...drove about 1 or 2 miles, kinda warm in the truck so i switch the temp dial to cold...some dusty stuff flies out and truck starts to smell like burning brake fluid...pull over, shut off truck and open hood...look under hood...cant really see anything...look under truck, nothing dripping down. Look at all 4 brake areas where lines go in...no leakage. Brakes worked fine...temp guage stayed in middle. Scratched head for a few min, could hear something "pinging'/hissing somewhere under passenger side of engine, then passenger side engine something that looks like heat waves/smokey steam coming off very faintly from passenger side engine..thinking maybe grease/oil dripped down onto exhaust? Drove 30ish more miles and it seemed fine after that...poltergeist? dripping oil? beginning of bad head gasket?

anyone ?

nooo in fact i'm due for an oil change when I go home in a few weeks...I looked and there wasn't anything dripping down while its running and there's no puddles of anything when it's been sitting for a while/overnight....
