Burning Smell

Hey all, first time asking a question, so thanks in advance for any help.

I have a 2002 Chilkoot that gets a nasty burning smell when the heaters on and mostly just smells at a standstill. I thought it was the coolant leaking and burning off on the engine, but I fixed that and still get the smell. Any ideas?

Can you explain the smell? Does it smell electrical? or like brakes, clutch, rubber etc? you said you thought it was coolant so it has a sweet smell? Just curious as different materials that burn smell differently.

Can you get your sniffer in the engine bay and sniff around for it?
