ANDY Posted May 28, 2010 Share Posted May 28, 2010 hey whats up guys? i know there probably is a thread or answer already out there but i got ballsy and did my own timing belt thanks to doctor bills extraveganza lol but anyways i put the timing belt on and turned it over a couple of times to see if it would line back up, and it didnt so is it supposed to line back up from when i had it on tdc? cause i dont want to blow up my motor, any help would be thankful andy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jj big shoe Posted May 29, 2010 Share Posted May 29, 2010 Just count the teeth between the alignment marks on the rear cover. There should be 40 between the cam marks and 43 between the driver's (left) cam mark and the crank mark notch. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
