my tranny is over filled with fluid could that be what is causing my problems??(slipping and overheating) Im trying to save alot of money by ruling out possible problems. And i also put in some tranny treatment which was kinda thick now im trying to get it out.(Lucas)

is $1500 for a retran good it is a sports transmission with 5 (instead of 4) gears and 9 clutches (instead of 5)

its from a good trany shop (PHXRETRAN) :blink:

i'd prob. depend on how overfilled. a bit no, but a whole bunch maybe problematic. if $1500 includes the whole job, i'd say not bad. on other threads somewhere here, $1000 was mentioned for a regular auto. i think. it'll also depend on where in the country you reside...
