I was hoping to get some input on why my 91 hardboby vg30 auto smells of raw gas on startup. it goes away quickly but does it almost everytime i start it. The rig was originally a 2wd 4cyl but i put it on the 4wd frame and used the motor trans and harness from the same vehicle. i dont see any fuel leaks but the smell persists any ideas appreciated

Well, the first thing to always to is to check for leaks. I recommend doing this with it not running. Inspect everything from the injectors and everything all the way bacjk to the fuel pump assemlby. Maybe you have a exhaust leak and on startup ou get the smell, but Im leaning to a small leak somewhere. Oh, keep a fire extinguisher nearby.
