so i got 1 for yah

ill be sitting at a light with the truck in gear (automatic) and all of a sudden itll start to shudder. almost like the engine is gonna die but when i look at the rpms they dont drop at all. the service engine light has been on every once in awhile. ive plugged it and determined that it was because of a misfire. also when i start it up (cold start) the rpms will go up then drop to about 500-600. it has never died till the other day after school. it took me about 10 mins to get it to turn over. i recently replaced the distributor, new plugs and wires also. i added some oil stuff with i think it said csl (got it at Orileys) to the oil as well as a can of sea foam in the gas and oil.

does anyone know what could be wrong or what is goin on cuz its really annoying?

thanks

Sounds like a misfire. Was the problem there before you changed the plugs and wires? What plugs and wires did you use?

yeah thats what i figured but i dont know what could be causing it. it WAS there before i did the plugs and wires. i used ngk plugs and msd wires.

I would go get the code pulled. Even if its not on, the ecm should of stored a code. Go to any parts house, most will pull the code for free. Post it up and lets go from there.

ok yeah on monday ill talk to my auto teacher and see if i can use the computor quick and then ill get it
