burtonpunk151
so i got 1 for yah ill be sitting at a light with the truck in gear (automatic) and all of a sudden itll start to shudder. almost like the engine is gonna die but when i look at the rpms they dont drop at all. the service engine light has been on every once in awhile. ive plugged it and determined that it was because of a misfire. also when i start it up (cold start) the rpms will go up then drop to about 500-600. it has never died till the other day after school. it took me about 10 mins to get it to turn over. i recently replaced the distributor, new plugs and wires also. i added some oil stuff with i think it said csl (got it at Orileys) to the oil as well as a can of sea foam in the gas and oil. does anyone know what could be wrong or what is goin on cuz its really annoying? thanks

5523Pathfinder
Sounds like a misfire. Was the problem there before you changed the plugs and wires? What plugs and wires did you use?

5523Pathfinder
I would go get the code pulled. Even if its not on, the ecm should of stored a code. Go to any parts house, most will pull the code for free. Post it up and lets go from there.
