So, I just got my '93 Pathy on Sunday, and it has a few small issues. One is the 4 wheel drive indicator dash light. When the t-case is in 2 HI the light is on, I shift it into 4 HI or 4 LO and the light turns off. I know I am in 2 HI, my mom owned a Pathfinder and my dad owned a Hardbody so I know what 4WD feels like, but the dash light is on. I have auto hubs, so I drove backwards for quite a distance, and the light stays on. One of the previous owners installed a new trans and t-case, so I am not sure if there is a crossed wire. Anyone have any clue as to what is going on?

sounds like a plug in the worng spot on the t-case.

 

there are 2 of them, try swaping.

HEY! You seem familiar... lol

 

Gotchya, thanks for the info. If it's not too wet when I get home, I will give that a shot. I figured it'd be a somewhat simple fix, but wasn't sure.
