I have an 87 and have been looking at the same question on here. 31X10.50's seem to be the consensus around here for max size on a stock suspension. I myself do not mind the 31's, but I did want a bit of a wider tire than a 10.5 and I am buying my tires tomorrow. I will be going with the 10.5's
