raz
Hello I'm sure this has been asked a dozen times, but I used the search function but came up empty. I'm trying to put the biggest BFGs A/Ts on my stock rims. I understand that lifting the truck won't matter much as it's the back space between the lower spring perch on the strut and tire that's the limiting factor. Currently, I'm running 255/65 R16 on stock rims. What are the largest tires I can use on the stock rims of a 2001 SE 3.5L Pathy without them rubbing? Thanks, Raz
laxman0324
As I already said in your intro thread, I have 255/75R16, and I can go wider (probably to 265) and taller (i have at least one inch of clearance between the tire and strut). The wheels our model has are pushed out pretty far, which allows for larger sizes without clearance issues...my Xterra S/C rims are tucked under the strut and thus limit my clearance to a 265/65R17 tire...
