Problem with the Pilot fog lights?

I put the pilot fog lights in the place of the stock lights and used the stock wiring. They keep blowing the fuse that connects to the battery terminal. I thought maybe the relay was bad, and got one off ebay. It was crap it turned one light on and one light off with the switch on and when the switch was turned off the other light came on. So I put the old relay back in and replaced the fuse. The lights will work for a little while before the blow the fuse again.

Anybody have any ideas what it could be?

Yep, I had the same thing happening to me. Turned out I had the wiring backwards. The black wires are the positive and green are negative for the stock foglights. As soon as i switched the wiring, the fuses have not blown since. (2 months and counting)
