Precise1
This has come up before and my opinion on it has remained the same, although just about anyone "can" do it, even if your only using a rachet to crank them with. obviously a breaker bar or long handled rachet would make it easier. But nothing makes it easier than taking the weight of the bar in the first place Huh, thats the difference. I don't touch the bolt head, no need to. Just like said, I just broke the counter nut loose, then turned the buttom nut with a box wrench. No trouble, bolt spin, damage, grief, etc... I just don't see turning a 10 minute job into a project. bitemedoughboy.com
WD-40 Brotha. Breakfast of champions. haha. i used plenty of anti-seize lube on all the parts when i re-assembled mine.... and added a small washer just slightly smaller in diameter than the bolt head between the half round washer and the bolt head, i had problems with the socket slipping off. it makes it easier to count the turns if the damn thing stays on all the way around.
