Inverting Rancho RS-9000 shocks?

I have RS9000's and was hoping I could invert the rear shocks due to the airlines hanging in harms way;

Just wondering if anyone has actually ran them upside down?

Ripping airlines in the middle of the woods sucks...

I think 88 inverted some RS5000's and had troubles with them. Just zip tie the line to the shock body or something.

I have my rears inverted and was planning to install the remote controller this weekend. The Rancho tech said they will run a little softer that way (set at 7 will feel like 5) until they cycle a couple times, then they should perform like normal. I checked since I figured I'd run into the same issue you're having with the air lines pulling apart when flexing the rear a lot. I'll keep enough hose length coiled up under the truck to flip them back around just in case though, see how that works.
