USCJustice
Good evening and greetings to all. I'm in Cola, SC, with a 96 4x4 SE. Not much to tell. It's green, with Gray interior. Looking to learn much and add to it as I start tinkering with the new toy. Donald

USCJustice
Thanks for the warm welcome. I am new to the Pathfinder world, but not new to Nissans. I currently have a 96 Maxima SE, an 05 Xterra Off-Road 6spd, and a 93 Convertible 240SX with an SR20DET. The vert has a few other hop-ups. Pics of the Pathfinder will be up as soon as I get back into town Tuesday. A little more about the truck... I think I got pretty lucky. It's the OD Green (I don't know the actual Nissan designation for the color), 4x4 Automatic, electronic adjustable struts, power windows, power locks, keyless, and the power moonroof. That's the good. The bad is that the interior looks like an animal chewed on it for a while, and I was told that it didn't run and the guy didn't know why. Front windshield had been bashed and drivers front window were smashed as it was vandalized. Put a battery in and it cranked on the first try. Bad news - Engine knock. Good news I only paid $400 for the whole truck. Good news, I picked up a complete interior and drivers front glass for 50 bucks. All that has been put in and swapped out now. I have sourced another engine as well and that's going in on Tuesday afternoon. 500 bucks for an engine with 85K miles on it. What other things are there to be done with it after the engine swap and reliability things are taken care of on Tuesday? Here are a couple of the other toys... This is the 240SX that I got rid of in order to get the Maxima above: The aforementioned Convertible:
Fukinitupagain
What other things are there to be done with it after the engine swap and reliability things are taken care of on Tuesday? new coils (raising it 2"), replace the struts & shocks, rear bushings (if you're like me -cause I got the rear shimmy right now), bigger tires & anything else you want to add. How's the tranny?
