pre 93 bumper on 93-95 pathfinder?

i was wondering if I could fit the old square-ish looking front bumper off a hardbody or pathfinder on my 93 Pathfinder. I need a front bumper to pass inspections....hardmounted turn signals and license plate.

Yes, it will swap on. However, you may have to swap the bumper brackets for it to work.

Cuong I'm actually looking at the same thing right now to mount my new TJM. What I'm thinking now is order a pair of these:

 

Cut them down the middle, and weld them to the half of my current brackets that mount to the frame.

I found out today that the pre 93 bumper brackets don't work for post 92 models. The top bolt hole does not line up with the hole on the frame mount.

Well, you can have (for the cost of shipping) my slightly bent front one to see if it lines up on your frame. It should, as I was playing around with swapping parts off of a 93 for a while.

as long as you have the correct brackets for the year bumper you are able to flip them back and fourth either way, i would assume the same goes for the rear as well

Thank for the offer Ghostpath but I just needed a bumper to passed inspection. I just used the bottom holes and bolted up the bumper.
