unccpathfinder
So we were going over to the neighbors house last night for a lil shin dig with a buncha hikers that are stepping off tomorrow AM for the 1st leg of their "pacific ridge hike" they all did the Appalachian trail last year (from Georgia to Maine) which is crazy cuze its over 2000miles...any how so I decide to drive the 87 as I do about once amonth to keep her happy...well I'm looking in the mirror and see all kinds of wonderful smoke and it was running like complete ass which I haven't fully investigated but I believe I was burning oil and coolant so I can only keep the fingers crossed for a head gasket...I we ended up walking home last night so the truck is still at his house and I havent gotten to investigate but I reckon tomorrow AM i'll be checking the fluids to see if I've got mixing and then doing a compression check... This is frustrating but I guess it'll give me another 6 months- a year or more worth of intermittent work...I really need to get the 95 here but the GF is just not having it...On top of that my work may be closing down b/c my boss is an idiot and overshot his budget on the last project by more than $300K so tension has been high there and I left thurs at 8:30AM and not returning till monday b/c of his attitude...I really need someone to give me an interview from the 20 or so jobs I just applied too on thrus and fri... unccpathfinder
Got some research done today...I'm going to have to compression check it along with some other things but its not firing on at least one cylinder and running way rich...I absorbed the moisture on a rag at the exhaust outlet...smelled like gas and burned like gas so I have either a bent valve or no spark in 1 or more cylinders...I've had some issues with this dizzy right after wheelmans wreck so I'm going to run a comp check then start checking the plug wires and plugs

unccpathfinder
Shes still mad at me...and for some reason every place in town is out of gascans and all I have for our mower is a 1 gallon can...I want to pull out all the old gas and put in fresh and see what happens b.c she is very very unahppy and the wind has been blowing nonstop for the past 3 weeks except when I had other chores around the house like digging up all the old crappy gray rail rock and replacing it with nice red lava rock... I'm almost at the point of parting her out and just getting my 95 from NC here but that is my very very very last option...I just feel bad that she's sitting getting sand blasted and blistered by the sun...
