jm911
The owners manual has nothing on replacing the PCV valve. I have the replacement part sitting here, but as I look into the engine bay I see nothing that looks like the part in the box. Anyone have a pic or a good description of where the PCV valve is? Thanks. Jeff
snosnk
On my '96, standing in front of the truck, find the number 2 spark plug wire. Go to the right about six inches and you should see two hoses approx the same size running out the side of the intake. Its the one furthest away. Not the one on the top rear of the intake that goes to the brakes. Hope that helps

jm911
snosnk, that's it, perfect description. It wasn't a problem at all to get at or remove/replace. It took 5 minutes to complete. Thanks again for the help.

Trialsin26
Is it really a PITA to replace the PCV on and 2001 and up. I was looking into it to because I already have the part. It looks like I have to remove the upper and lower pelnum (aka intake manifold as I like to call them) That seems like a lots of work and it would almost seem like something you would do when you raplace valve cover gaskets. Anyone try it yet on there 3.5's? Edited July 10, 2005 by Trialsin26
