Hi There , I have a 1991 pathfinder se and im haveing problem with the heater switch it only works on #3 .

The manual i have said to remove blower motor and there would be a relay in there well there is not a relay in there . So where is it at on a 91 se ?

search around the forums as this was a topic not too long ago. i don't remember what the solution was.

 

in your case it's the it is the blower motor but i am thinking it's a resistor not a relay.

 

Thanks for the replay . I did look at some of the other post but they were talking abought the earler type that has the resister or realy up in the blower motor mine is not in there . i tuck the blower motor out and the fan off its not there so i just thought someone might know where to find it . bluevan

that's what they all have.. may want to look again.. i dunno if the other threads talk about it in detail but it has to be there.

 

 

Thanks again . i did find a post with a link that said to take the glove box out and a cover behind it and the relay and a lot of leaves and junk should be there so thats my next step . Going to take out glove box *LOL* will be back with what i find there .bluevan

Hi Again , Well the relay was there and a pile of leaves *L* now all i have to do is wight tell monday for the parts department at nissan to get a new resistor . Thanks a lot for the help .Bluevan
