Power window problem

All right here is the deal, my 93 is causing me grief over my drivers window, it wont go down, I have tested my switch on a friends 94 and it works, both up and down, on mine it will try to put the window up but will not come down, I can hear a click coming from the passenger side kick plate, do I have a power window amp problem or is that click saying something else.

HELP

I have the wiring schematics but thought this would be faster.

Honestly,I would pull my driver door panel off first and have a look around. you may find your problem lies elsewhere as you have already proved the switch is good!!

As for the clicking, I havent a clue! Mines a 95, Maybe someone else will chime in and shed light on that one!!

Click is the relay I believe... my '90 does that too, you can only hear it when the window is at top or bottom as then the motor doesn't move and overpower the sound

It could be that the relay is shot in the passenger side kick panel.
