I am currently removing my transmission from my 1990 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 and i am stuck. I do not know how to take the starter out to get to the Torque converter bolts, also, how do i take the exhaust out? I see there are 3 bolts conencting the pipe to the manifold, and i got one bolt out, but i am having trouble getting to the other 2. Anyone have any advice?? Thanks!

Go look in the Garage How-To forum....click the one that says "Replacing Your Starter on a 1987-95"

I'm going to have to cut my exhaust off...the bolts are all rusted to hell. Common problem, uncoated/untreated mild steel + weather/water/mud = rust galore.
