Airbag light flashing

I must have knocked something loose, but my airbag light is flashing on and off. Anyone know why?

flashing light indicates a problem in your SRS system (airbags)

 

there is a procedure to turn that light off but i'd get yours checked out, it shouldnt come on by itself

 

yeah itll blink if you unhook an airbag,

 

if your seats have side airbags in them like my qx4 does, then there is a plug under each seat for the bags. I once unplugged them for a moment to clean the carpets, had the blinking light afterwards and had to reset them (a $400+ procedure at a dealer)
