Crankshaft question

I have a 1995 Pathfinder 4x4 and the woodruff key for the timing on the crankshaft was loose and wore the crankshaft down. I found a 1994 2wd automatic for sale for 200 and the trans wont shift into overdrive (4th). It does have a good engine though. I was wondering if there was a difference in the crankshafts between the 1994 automatic and the 1995 manual. If not will they swap out?

Yeah. Mine only has 179k on it and the 94 has 280k on it.

that crankshaft might not be worth it with 280k on it, i bet its worn alot more than yours, get pics of your crankshaft, i wanna see how bad its damaged.

Will do. I think I am still gonna pick up the other one for parts though.

You should have that crankshaft polished (assuming it's still within spec) and the bearings will have to match.
