dragonfly Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 OK this is the list 1992 WD21 XE pathy grey with all the usual issues in the lists Ball joints upper lower RH / LH OME shocks front and rear OME springs Warn hubs with bearing grease seals Calmini HD Steering Kit 15x8 steel rims with 31x10.5 BF Goodrich All terrains Awaiting Install. I have purchased the socket for the hub/ wheel bearing nut Soaked the nuts bolts etc in Aerokroil three times. I have the grease Mobil One synthetic for the bearings. I have searched all the forum topics and have looked through the Haynes manual religiously Do I have to pull the whole knuckle to do the bearings. Is this the easy way?? I am doing the ball joints etc. Just looking for some tips. Not help Problems etc. Pullers?? I currently work for a Float plane overhaul shop so I have many things at my disposal. Simon Posted November 2, 2007 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Nope...don't need to pull the knuckle to do the bearings. Undo the upper ball joints, disassemble the hubs, and you'll be into the wheel bearings. You can typically get the CV's pulled back enough to get the inner races out without having to pull out the whole knuckle. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
