radudel
Hi! I saw some comments on the net regarding using wheel spacers to increase stability. Now I don't have such a large experince to understand that. That is why I ask you if you can tell me the pro's and con's regarding using wheel spacers on a Pathi. What else must be changed in order to accomodate wheel spacers? Thanx!
88pathoffroad
Generally speaking, wheel spacers are a last-resort item used when you don't want to buy new wheels to get proper backspacing. Spacers can put more stress on the wheel hub and front suspension in general. Not that I've heard of them causing catastrophic failures or anything, but it's generally considered to be a better idea to just get new wheels with the backspacing you want rather than put on spacers. AFAIK, they bolt on and then the wheels bolt back onto the spacers. Simple install.
