95xe_sorc Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 On wiki it says the VG30E is the kind of motor that is in my 95 XE, and that there is another motor called the VG30ET, which is the same motor as mine just with a t25 turbo on it?....is it possible to take a t25 turbo and put it on my VG30E? yozsi Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 yes it is possible, but the 300zx manifolds place the turbo behind the cylinder heads. no room back there in a pathy. worth the effort? 88pathoffroad Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 You would have to relocate the turbo somewhere other than a stock location and hand-fab all the parts to do it with, is the thing. I've seen a few turboed Nissans but they all involve personal fab-work and a bunch of new spendy parts... Fuel pump, regulator, injectors, exhaust, intake piping, engine computer/fuel management, turbo, blow-off valve, wastegate routing...you see how it goes. I won't tell anyone it's not possible, but it's VERY tough on a budget. Not a direct swap. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
