barthel
I have never used the built in alarm in my pathy, it's always been more of an annoyance honestly. Well, a friend and I were doing some interior work and when he pulled the center console, he clipped the wires for the rocker switch. It wasn't a big deal to me, but I've come to find out that the system is basically always on. After I turn the truck off and close the door, if I go into the truck after that or open the hatch it goes off. Bad part is, he clipped the wires in such a way that I can't reconnect them. So, anyone know how to disable, disarm or remove the VSS alarm?

jj big shoe
Are the wires he cut taped off? Mine got caught in the seat track slider one day and I couldn't shut it off since the insulation was frayed and a wire was grounded to the seat rail. barthel
Not taped, but well covered. I'll go and tape them just to make sure. Where is the alarm module?
