Guest drunken_rice
Ok so I ran codes and I got a 13... i've come across 2 different meanings for code 13 so I'm not sure which one to believe. Its the only code im getting and i've tried resetting the ecu and even unplugged the neg on the battery for 4 hours to reset it as well and i still get code 13 so im sure that the sensor is out or not working properly... so what exactly is a code 13? how do i fix it?? thnx all

Guest drunken_rice
ok nm guyz... after the reset didn't seem to work last nite and tried it again and turned the car off and left it for the night... this morning i got up and checked the codes before i left for the gym and it was all clear!! yay! NO MORE CODES! haha when it didn't work and i looked in my book it said its the cylinder head temp sensor and i was like crap where the heck is that but after looking for it and giving up i checked the codes and realized i didn't have to worry about that... im guess its the same thing as the coolant temp sensor since they look the same in the pic's... newayz thnx... 88pathoffroad
The CHTS is located under the timing cover on the front of the engine block. You DON'T want to have to change that out unless you're really in the mood. You have to remove a bunch of stuff to get to it.
