UPDATE: it looks as if im going to be buying a rebuild kit for my truck now. pulled the head to check for any mechanical problems, and found a hole in one of the pistons :(

 

The coplart seems to be pre-detantion, which i was haveing a problem with before anyway (i thought it was just a bit of spark nock) and now i need to rebuild.......

 

Im thinking of boring the engine out since im going to have it apart anyway, and over-sized pistons are not too much more.
