Guest 88pathfindergene
So Ive got this really wierd noise and I was sure that I read something on it here before, so I did several searches and came up with nothing, so here it is: Ive got this noise that sounds like BBs spinning around in the center cap of the driver front wheel. Thats the only thing I can think of to discribe it, its only happened about four times usually in the morning when its cold, and only last till the first time I stop, about 200 feet, then it quits. Yesterday, it started when I left work, and I said screw it lets see what happens, for about eight miles. Once I stopped it stopped but nothing happened. Im leaning tward it being a automatic hub issue being that it is not a constant problem, such would be the case with a wheel bearing, right? So please fire away with any info or ideas that anyone has cause this one is spining me crazy. thanks
88pathoffroad
Take the hub off and have a look. I can't diagnose noise problems over the internet, you know?
Jdpathy
Just a thought, but is it well greased?
