ACP97SE
I'm just poking around on crutchfield, and the site is telling me that even if I have the non bose system I'm going to need some kind of connector that has level adjustors and costs $50?? I thought that was only with the bose systems? I've just got the stock cd player/tape combo. What gives?
vengeful
They are mistaken. You do not need that, you just need the basic harness adapter.

vengeful
The Amplifier Bypass Harness thing that Crutchfield sells is NOT necessary if you're only upgrading the head unit. You still need an adapter harness to adapt the factory harness to your head unit though.
