:help: I need some intelligent advice on how to handle a repeated EVAP system problem. (5th occurence now).

 

I keep getting various error codes related to the EVAP system (purge valve stuck, pressure errors, etc).

Each time I end up replacing the canister, one of the valves, or blowing out the lines.

Now I have to go in for an Emissions Test and they won't pass you with the SES light lit. That means going to a dealer or other licensed shop and it's getting EXPENSIVE.

 

I am very well aware of poisoning the canister or washing charcoal into the lines by over-topping the fuel tank.

What the H_LL is going on here? Anyone else seen anything like this ? Any suggestions, tricks, etc. ?
