  1. sorry if I came across as snoty it was not ment that way
  2. brake dust on the rims? try using a ceramic pad it will help but they are pricey
  3. most of tese posts are telling you that there is no preventative maintenance on brkes which is'nt true the rears if drum brakes should be cleaned and adjusted and the disc brakes should have the pad slides and caliper pins cleaned and lubed with out this you run the risk of prematurely wearing out you brakes, if the rears are out of adjustment you wear your front brakes faster and your e- brake wont work as well with. but the # 1 reason for preventative maintenance is that replacing a set of pads or shoes is alot cheaper than pads and rotors or shoes and drums because you let them go metal to metal.
  4. -study- I've been looking for lift for the front of my 88 finder and there is lots of options, first off I was reading in here that the AC upper c arms wont give you any lift but they advertse 3" now s that what you would get after crankng your t bars all the way up( which I know is wrong) or is that what you get just from replacing the ucas I also see kits with torion bars which might not be a bad idea mine are fnished ( 280000 km will do that). so what do you think about bj spacers? I've already got my jgc coils and I was going to install this weekend but now I'm having second thoughts untill I get the lift for the front , it already has the raked look and I've turned the torsion bars up. any help, info, experience would be great.

    It won't start!

ecm failures are rare and are usually caused by something else (poor grounds, physical damage) make sure your grounds are good before you cause a problem with the new one. is that ecm have the same options as your truck? I had a sentra in the shop a week ago same symptoms and the grounds at the ecm were rotten and it took out the computer (high resistance)
