  1. Here it is, my daily driver 1996 4x4 5-spd. Needing lots o work here soon.
  2. Yea right, Hollister is for my XR, I'll keep the pathfinder parked in front of the TT track for those that want to borrow it. Yes, the 4x4 is used primarily for the snow in the Sierra mountains! I've done the rubicon before in a cj, so theres nothing that can bring the pucker factor more than the rubicon. Can somebody help me post pics, it's telling me I can only attach upto 150k, my pics won't even be as big as avatars at that point.
  3. Hey all, So I was looking on ebay over the weekend and there was a couple items I was interested in buying...What do you guys think? One was a Timing belt replacement kit, came with a new water pump, gasket, tensioner pulley and new timing belt (sorry I don't have access to ebay while at work) Second was the suspension rebuild kit. Have you guys seen these, do you think they can be trusted(not the seller, but the parts?) Thanks for the input, maybe I should create a new tread.... -Jeromy

  5. Thanks for the warm welcomes!!!! I would love to do some 4x4'ing! Yes once my rig is complete lets go, it's mostly going to be a sierras rig though. I'll be hopefully seeing sc88 around, that would be sweet. -Jeromy
  6. Howdy, Just introducing myself...I got my 1996 Pathfinder in late 07, I got it with 145000 mi, for 4000 bucks from a dealer. I love this truck. I sold my 92 4runner and this thing runs circles around the yota. Regardless, I got this pathfinder because it had everything I wanted, it's a 5-spd, 4X4 with no frills, no power anything. I love it. It doesn't have fender flares, the steel wheels are just fine with me too. It has developed several problems since I've had it. Keep in mind this beast get's it ass kicked by driving from the coast here upto the Sierra's to go skiing about 10 times every winter. I needed to find an information source to fix/understand the below mentioned problems: -Sway Bar bushings -rear bushings gone -front cv boots shot play in front wheels -some leaking from behind the timing belt cover I hear there's a main seal back there that may need replacing. -A new grinding when shifting into 3rd, I think the syncro's in the tranny may be going south. -no empty gas light -no reverse lights -intermittent front left turn signal -no spare tire crank to let down the spare. These are the main issues, but it still gets driven everyday about 50 miles. On monday, It's going into the shop to have new axles/cv boots installed along with all new bushings installed throughout the suspension. It's and expensive job, but it needs to be done. My mod's to the car are: MagnaFlow muffler 2 in 1 out ...to be quieter. WeaponR Dragon intake. I have some pics of the car I will attempt to post. Anyways I look forward to some productive chat. -Jeromy
