^^^man that exhuast system is just plain awesome. its carbon fiber! Makes it sound like a formula one race engine. And its loud! everyone can hear me! love it!

I finally had enough balls to show my parents. My dad was actually quite cool about it and he actually took it for a ride. I didnt know he knew how to ride.

sry for the bad pics guys. I had to use my lame camera phone. But i will have a vid up very soon too show u how the exhuast sounds!

So easy to go fast. all the sudden it says 50 on the speedo and it doesnt even feel like it too.

bored on sunday, thought i share. And don't Effing lecture me.

  2. It does make a diffrence...In my area the BP will click off two gallons before a full tank...the Clark where I useally get gas is a full tank. The pumps are calibrated once a year in my area...also if you push the nozzle in two far it will nott feed properly, clicking off early...

I have been doing it this way for years and it is the most efective way of proving gas milage

you are actually right i think. When i fill up at hess, it doesnt fill it up the whole way and at sunoco its super full and the fule gauage is like all the way up past the full line. At hess the guages shows it fills up right at the full line.

  3. Yes. It most definitely is. My old rig, I was able to consistently achieve 20.7mpg commuting to work. 90/10 highway/city ratio. 32x11.50 Tires, 3" lift, TJM bumper, huge safari rack, ARB Snorkel, 4 lights on the roof, warn manual hubs. I'm sure that without all of the extra drag it would have been a lot more. Oh, and that was with 165-180k miles, poor maintenance and a crap alignment.

My peak was 23.6mpg on a single tank, once. I was able to achieve 17.5mpg towing a 3500lb trailer from Rochester, NY to DC, though. That was pretty impressive.

    But....I'm liking my 37mpg Integra right now...:D

woah!!! u must be a right laner with the priuses.

  4. i easily get 19 but if push i can get 20 on the highway, but maybe its because i have the stick. But the best i've seen was 21 highway with my pathy. and now with the intake just installed, im hoping to keep on seeing 21 on the highway.

  5. You'll never get the mad-as-balls low-end torque of a turbo diesel out of a V6... A V8 yes, but there goes the wicked mileage. A L4 turbo diesel is a solid option for any SUV because it offers responsiveness, consistent low-end torque and amazing fuel economy. :aok:

A lot of people make the assumption that diesels are loud and rattling; not the case when it's a 3.2L 4-cylinder. :D

too bad i dont know squat about diesels.

  6. Depends on what you end up doing. AC or OME coils will be stiffer than OEM and aftermarket shocks and struts will have improved response over OEM. So you can expect a way more comfortable ride with more of a 'truck feel'. Keep in mind beefier meats will further cushion the ride, too.

The difference between stock and 2" lifted has been nothing but great based on my experiences. :aok:

ok good. I dont mind stiff. My x 4runner was mad stiff even with stock suspension and i like the trucky feel, so is their a difference between teh two....AC and OME.

  7. That's not "REAL METAL" then is it? That's more like Hard Punk with metal influences.

    Concrete Blonde - Bloodletting

it is real metal. metal of the next generation. Bullet for my valentine, august burns red, misery signals...etc. Hardcore Metal. If u take a way teh screaming, it just sounds like any metal, screaming is just a plus. :aok:
