On my 99.5 pathfinder On the rear differential there is some thing that connects to it (and a spring is connected to the other side) mine has broken off and I have know idea what it is or what it does. Can some one please tell me what it is and what it does.

i love my pathfinder but it seems too slow. any quick ways to juice up the 3.3 liter engine?
